After years of hosting courses with an all-volunteer board, Excellence Northwest affiliated with Excellence Seminars International in 2016.

With continued success, in 2019, Excellence Northwest sold Excellence Seminars its current Excellence Series courses, including ReSet, BreakThru, and The Practice with the agreement that Excellence Seminars would refresh the series and repackage it as The CORE Leadership series and Excellence Northwest would also own the completed updates after its five-year agreement ends in 2023
