This workshop, for graduates of our Strategies for Excellence core series of courses, is aimed at the heart of leadership: personal mastery. As a result, the emerging leader is inspired and transformed though deepened self awareness coupled with pragmatic skills for better ways of doing and new ways of being.
You can expect to work on:

• Giving and receiving feedback -- including video feedback
• Leadership vs. management
• Situational leadership
• Your leadership strengths and liabilities
• “Fishbowls” -- a technique for identifying issues, interview style
• Refining and remembering your purpose
• Recognizing and reinforcing what “works”
• Presenting your point of view
• Overcoming objections -- from a place of deep clarity
• Leading interactively -- explore the power of questions
• Getting the most out of the courage you have
Who should take this course:
Whether your motivation is to become even more effective as a leader in your chosen field; to hone your skills at working with groups of people in personal as well as professional arenas; to learn about yourself; to confront limitations, such as the fear of public speaking; or simply to overcome shyness; you will find in this course a responsive structure for learning and a supportive environment in which to take risks. The course allows time for putting theory to work and observing the results in your life.
